{"id":3365,"date":"2020-01-17T15:00:58","date_gmt":"2020-01-17T15:00:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/version1.thinktankdev.org.uk\/en-us\/?p=3365"},"modified":"2020-01-17T15:00:58","modified_gmt":"2020-01-17T15:00:58","slug":"mapeley-jd-edwards","status":"publish","type":"case-studies","link":"http:\/\/version1.thinktankdev.org.uk\/en-us\/case-studies\/mapeley-jd-edwards\/","title":{"rendered":"Version 1 Delivers JD Edwards Transformation for Mapeley Estates"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Mapeley Estates Limited provides a range of services to portfolio and asset owning subsidiaries, owning and managing over 670 assets located in every major town and city in the UK.<\/h2>\n<p>One of the largest commercial landlords in the UK with an annual revenue of \u00a3206 million, Mapeley Estates worked with Version 1 to upgrade and transform their JD Edwards applications.<\/p>\n<h2>Challenges<\/h2>\n<p>Mapeley Estates\u2019 existing JD Edwards infrastructure was ageing, with the organisation wanting to take advantage of the latest tools and integrate JD Edwards to work with the rest of their software. Mapeley Estates also wanted to modify their footprint and simplify business processes through JD Edwards optimisation and retirement of modifications.<\/p>\n<h2>Solution<\/h2>\n<p>Version 1 was selected by Mapeley Estates to upgrade their JD Edwards application to the latest release. Version 1 employed an Object Analyser to review modifications, alongside Impact Analysis to better target retrofit and testing. JD Edwards was integrated to work with software interfaces; Pro\ufb01t, Maximo, Create!Form, Transform and PTX.<\/p>\n<h2>Real Differences, Delivered<\/h2>\n<p>As a result, Mapeley Estates\u2019 JD Edwards application is now fully supported on release 9.2, with the project completed under the specified budget.
