The conversation I’m having with Oracle Fusion<\/a> customers right now centres on a single, honest tension. Organisations recognise they need to extract more value from their Oracle investment. They see quarterly releases and understand that AI<\/a> capabilities are maturing rapidly, yet they’re constrained by something far more fundamental: time and resources.<\/p>\n

This pattern became particularly apparent during our recent Oracle AI Success Navigator webinar, where experienced Oracle customers gathered to explore how the platform could help them manage their Fusion estate more effectively. What emerged wasn’t just a set of product capabilities, it was a clear picture of where the Oracle community sits right now, and why so many organisations are struggling to move from awareness to action.<\/p>\n

The resource challenge is real<\/strong><\/h2>\n

When we asked attendees what their biggest obstacle was in maximising value from Oracle Fusion, 41% identified lack of time and resources. That’s nearly three in five organisations competing for headcount whilst simultaneously managing implementation backlogs, keeping systems stable, and now grappling with continuous innovation cycles. A further 27% cited difficulty in prioritising new innovations – a challenge that compounds when your team is already stretched.<\/p>\n

What’s worth noting is that these aren’t organisations new to Oracle. 85% of webinar attendees described themselves as experienced Fusion customers. 39% have been customers for over three years, and a further 33% are between one and three years into their journey. These are mature operations, past the complexity of initial implementation, facing a different kind of challenge: how to keep pace with Oracle’s velocity without burning out the team or losing sight of business outcomes.<\/p>\n

What our webinar revealed: The awareness\/action gap<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The most striking finding from our poll was this: whilst the majority of attendees knew about Oracle AI Success Navigator, most were not using it.<\/p>\n

Only 9% of attendees reported using it regularly. A further 45% had explored it a few times. Meanwhile, 32% knew about it but hadn’t used it, and 14% were encountering it for the first time. That’s a significant gap between awareness and adoption, and it tells an important story about where organisations sit with enablement.<\/p>\n

The capability is already there, licensed, and available. What’s missing isn’t the tool – it’s a clear narrative around where it fits in your operating model, and how to make it part of day-to-day practice rather than something to explore intermittently.<\/p>\n

The webinar also revealed strong appetite for what’s emerging. When we asked which areas customers wanted to accelerate, Oracle AI capabilities and AI agents drew interest from 31% of respondents, matching interest in Redwood adoption strategy at exactly the same level. A further 23% prioritised quarterly release and innovation adoption. This tells us the Oracle community recognises the shift toward agentic capabilities and is actively seeking guidance on how to navigate it.<\/p>\n

That’s the opportunity. Most Oracle Fusion customers are experiencing the resource constraint and the innovation velocity challenge we’ve outlined. Yet 91% aren’t actively using the tool designed to address both. That’s not a failure of the platform. It’s a gap in enablement and strategic integration.<\/p>\n
