The challenge
Inclusive museum experiences with AI-powered accessibility
Located at Bletchley Park, TNMOC showcases iconic machines such as the Enigma and other World War II artefacts. However, the museum faced a challenge: how to make complex technical content understandable for target age groups, and diverse linguistic and neurological needs.
The approach
To address this, we collaborated to create TNMOC Mate, a generative AI solution designed to simplify exhibit information, provide multi-language support, and deliver an engaging, personalised experience for all visitors.
We developed TNMOC Mate using GPT-4 technology to transform intricate details into accessible versions tailored for different age groups, languages and neurodiverse profiles. Visitors access the app via QR code or link, choose their preferred language and persona, and enjoy simplified exhibit content with audio narration, animated visuals, and introductory videos for each museum room.
